You can set off some pretty spectacular fireworks of your own saving while bargain shopping at Orlando’s finest shopping centers and malls.

Beyond the beaches and theme parks, there are a quite a few places in Orlando where fashionistas get to snuggle up with Gucci, Prada, Michael Kors, Tiffany, Versace, Valentino, Kenneth Cole and so many more high-end fashion stores while their hubbies or life partners play a round of golf or spend a day doing something they love. Though some men dig it it, too, especially when they get bargain priced Nike shoes and a pair of Rayban glasses. The one problem between you and that coveted Dooney & Bourke bag or a Chanel dress are the big-ticket prices. Luckily, while on your Best Vacations Ever (BVE) (bestvactionsever.com) adventure trip to Orlando typically with complimentary accommodations and other possible incentives, such as a preferred-partner Alamo rental car, you can get your shopping fix on all over town at your own leisure. If you haven’t booked your Best Vacation Ever promotional vacation package provided by Preferred Guest Resorts (PGR), visit the website to check out its validity and dedication to enhanced traveling, so you can shop till you drop, play around in the tropical sunshine, visit the City Beautiful and all its theme parks with a simple call to 800-656-2780. You know your vacation cravings and luxury taste buds are dancing, and there are plenty of bargains to be found at some of Orlando’s magnificent malls, specialty shopping strips and some of the best brand-name outlet shopping centers that are FUN and fashionable. Whatever you desire, Orlando shopping offers it all, especially another suitcase to hold all your new stuff, that make for a great day of retail therapy and some really good bargains to be had, even if you have to really look. Here are 5 of the best places in Orlando to satisfy your shopping fix, with plenty of bargains to be found so you leave as giddy and glorified just as of your came in under par!

  1. The Mall at Millenia is filled with glorious high-end, luxury items and a fun day of shopping like near your Best Vacations Ever hotel.
The Mall at Millenia is filled with glorious high-end, luxe items and a fun day of shopping like near your Best Vacations Ever hotel.

Mall at Millenia – It sounds and looks quite luxe, because it is. The glorious mall right near Universal Orlando Resort® is an attraction all its own, with window shopping being the best bargain of all. It’s home to brands such as Tiffany & Co., Prada, Gucci, Lacoste, Rolex, Macy’s, H&M, Chanel, H&M, Macy’s, Bloomingales, and much more. Top-end designer stores mingle among sensibly priced stores, so there are still savings to be found. While it may not be the BEST spot to find a lot of low-priced luxe items when on a tight-budget bargain, it’s definitely worth visiting, experiencing the beautiful mall, and taking the time at top-end stores to dive into clearance racks and sale items, especially during all of the major U.S. holidays. If you dig, sometimes you can find gold.

  1. Altamonte Mall – Head east down I-4, the one main interstate road about 25 minutes to the Altamonte Springs exit and turn right to more laid-back mall on the left that will satisfy your fancy shopping fix with many bargains because it’s far from the tourist areas and much MUCH less expensive than retail malls out by the theme parks. It’s anchored by Macy’s, Sears and JC Penny and home to 160 stores though not nearly as many high-end shops as Mall at Millenia. But, it’s worth visiting and leaving happy with quite a few bags and best-of-the-best savings, especially at Macy’s – a personal favorite of mine for big savings on high-end items here in Orlando.
  1. Enjoy shopping and leave with plenty of bags from one of many of Orlando's shopping centers and outlets for bargain-basement deals while on your Best Vacations Ever adventure

Winter Park & College Park – Heading back up west on I-4, get off at Lee Road and turn left, where you’ll find the gems of Winter Park. Turn right at the road end to visit Winter Park Village, with a few high-end shops, boutiques, a stadium-seating movie theater to catch a flic, and restaurants of all tastes. Take Morse Blvd. just past the Village to stroll and immerse yourself in Winter Park’s beautiful, intimate and high-end “Park Avenue,” as well as its extension of luxe boutiques in “Hannibal Square.” After leaving Park Avenue, you can also next get off off at the soon to follow Par exit and head to Edgewater Drive, turning left and driving into the most charming College Park shopping and dining strip, filled with plenty of original shops and diners, rare boutiques, antiques, day spas and beauty salons, as well as a local artist’s design shop coupled with a vegetarian dining establishment. Take a break for an exceptional lunch in either area in a plethora of indoor and/or outdoor café-style lunch at one of the many casual to gourmet restaurants on the Avenue or the Strip.

  1. Florida Mall – Located near the Orlando/Kissimmee area and 5-minutes from the airport, it’s the biggest mall in Central Florida and considered one of the very best with a roster of stores that is unrivaled. With over 250 stores there is something for everyone.  There’s something for everyone at Macy’s, Apple, Abercrombie, Gap, and one of only four M&M stores worldwide. Plus a Disney store where you may find some sale or clearance items for the kids on popular souvenir items. It’s another one of those places where you have to look for the clearance racks and sale items to find some great bargains!
  1. Orlando Premium Outlets Vineland & International Drive – Now comprised of two locations on either end of International Drive, it is probably first on the list (first on mine) if this were being written as a countdown for bargains on high-end items. It’s jam packed full of high-end outlet stores for a good ole day of serious retail therapy and bargain hunting. Ralph Lauren, Fendi, Burberry, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Armani and Coach are just a few to whet your appetitive. There’s no way to this vast designer-filled paradise without a few bags full of serious savings. TIP: Prices and savings are different at each of the two locations.
  1. Shopping is especially fun, even for the kids, in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort when you save hundreds of dollars thanks to the extra travel dollars with complimentary accommodations of a BVE package to Orlando.

Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets – A small and sometimes overlooked collection of shops, the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets, can sometimes offer some the most unexpected bargains. Located in nearby Kissimmee, it’s home to a few big names such as Nike and Gap, and its well worth visiting.
